Report About Attending the Conference of the Faculty of Engineering, Menoufia University, Egypt
As part of the department's efforts to open effective cooperation with the Egyptian universities, the department participate in the first International Engineering Conference of Menoufia University (24-28/3/2017) and to participate in the workshop on the prospects of scientific cooperation between the Department of Building and Construction Engineering Technology in Iraq and the Faculty of Engineering, Menoufia University - (28/12/2016). The following is a detailed description of what was achieved during the presence of the delegation in the Arab Republic of Egypt:
- Prior to the conference, Prof. Tariq Saleh Hadi and Prof. Aqil Shaker visited Cairo University / Faculty of Engineering and Ain Shams University / Faculty of Engineering and presented during the visit the university's readiness for technology and its desire to cooperate together. The two sides welcomed the initiative and presented a draft cooperation agreement proposed by the University of Technology and Universities. They agreed that it would be studied and discussed by the university and the opinion expressed later, and was ready to visit the university president and his accompanying delegation at Ain Shams University to meet with the president of Ain Shams University.
- The President of the University of Technology and his accompanying team received the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Menoufia and members of the faculty.
The sessions of the Conference began and the research was conducted titled (Prospects of scientific cooperation between the engineering of construction and construction at the University of Technology in Iraq and the Faculty of Engineering, Menoufia University - Egypt).
At the end of workshop, a meeting was held between the president of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Amin Douai Thamer and the President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Wahab Mohamed Ezzat who welcomed us and expressed the readiness of Ain Shams University for joint cooperation. University of Technology and its activities and its desire to cooperate with Egyptian universities.
